A FORT GREENE NIGHT - October 7, 2007

Brooklyn's Fort Greene showed me lot's of love on a hot October Friday night.

Long-time fans were in the house and new ones, young and old, wandered in when they heard the music. It was cozy up in Tillie's and I felt like I was singing to some friends in my living room. It was a vibe you can't plan. It just happens.

MASTERPIECE sales were sweet too. Thanks Brooklyn.

SWEET AT THE BITTER END - September 26, 2007

WOW!!!! Tuesday, September 25, the date of J. Phoenix’s debut release, MASTERPIECE, turned out to be a great day. Sales came from as far away as Japan, Italy and Spain; and when he hit the stage at New York’s legendary club, The Bitter End, he was nowhere near prepared for the overwhelming response of the crowd that can best be described as “new believers.”

Come out and start believing on Friday, October 5 at Tillie’s of Brooklyn, www.tilliesofbrooklyn.com.
